Trash to Cash Recycling for a Cause (2007 total as of 12-31-07 - $843.31) The Classy Cruisers has been collecting used Ink and Laser printer cartridges for over a year. We have just started to collect cell phones as well. This is a great way to raise money for a VERY worthy cause, and also help to protect our environment in the process. It's very simple, save any and all printer cartridges (none are too small or too large), as well as any old cell phones. Bring them to one our our cruise nights or our car show, and we'll take it from there. Many of the areas collector car buffs have been saving these items for us as well as several businesses and colleges. In fact, if your business has a large quantity of these items on a regular basis, we will pick them up, or teach you how to ship them to the recycler at no cost. The recycling company provides pre-paid UPS shipping labels and specific instructions on packing the items. Please note: We do not accept Dry Ink Canister type toners used in most photocopiers. Only Laser Cartridges, Laser Toner Cartridges, and all Ink cartridges. Also, No Cell Phone Accessories, just the phone and battery. We have a MAGAZINE SWAP BOX at ALL of our events. Participants can simply drop off old magazines when they are through with them and pick up others to read. |
